THE TASK
For our preliminary exercise, we had to create a documentary about mobile phones, and conduct an interviwew with a member of the public using questions that were given to use beforehand. We were also instructed to use a suitable music bed and lay it beneath the video.
Things that Went Well
- Filming of the cutaways went quite smoothly, getting people to participate wasn't too hard.
- Editing the piece was quick.
- Locating and editing the music piece that lay underneath was easy.
Things That Could Be Improved
- Finding a better, more confident speaker for the interview.
- Not particulary happy at all with the audio level of Lady Gaga. Too loud and interviewees can barely be heard. Probably will rectify later in the year with audio levels control on Adobe Premier pro.
- Perhaps better use of transition effects through the video.
- More of a detailed introduction.
